Last Sunday my friend Arlone and I got out to Spada Lake for our first paddle of the season. If you don’t know where that is, you drink from it every day if you live in Everett. In the time lapse video below we explored the remote northeastern fork, which is far from any road. To get to the southern end of the lake, you have to drive half an hour down an unpaved forest road from Sultan. We paddled to the far side from there. It’s very pristine and little-visited. It wasn’t quite as dark as the video portrays; I had a GoPro setting wrong.
