On a Personal Note

My blog is about my adventures, not about my personal life. However, my adventures are greatly affected by who I share them with.

The girlfriend, with whom I shared so many incredible experiences documented in this blog, is no longer my partner. She’s a great person, a great cook and the most enthusiastic fishing buddy ever. However, our values and goals in life couldn’t have been more different. She would have never been happy with my life in Everett, and there was no way I was moving to Bellevue… not to mention that we had very different values about parenting her daughter. Other than fishing, it just seemed like a force fit. Still, it’s a big loss; we had so much fun together. Although her face and her name will not appear in my blog, her stamp is all over it. We learned to fish together. In fact, when we first started dating she had no idea that she would love fishing so much, and she turned out to be even crazier about it than I am. I hope she finds some kind fisherman to be with.
